Front End Web Developer (design/XHTML/CSS)

Camna, LLC is a growing web development company located in Fredericksburg, VA, that focuses on PHP/MySQL web-based applications. We're looking for a part-time employee or freelancer who is interested in growing with the company into a full-time salaried position. You will have the opportunity to work both on client projects and shape company products. We offer a flexible schedule in a creative work environment.

We are seeking a well-organized multi-tasker that is self-directed and able to interact well with clients. The required technical skills include:

• Hand-written standards-compliant, cross-browser XHTML/CSS code (IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Safari, and Opera)
• PSD images to XHTML/CSS conversion
• Custom design (from a PSD or XHTML/CSS) implementation into Content Management Systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, or custom software
• WordPress experience (set up, plugin configuration, upgrades, etc)
• Strong design skills, primarily in the area of web-based applications

Experience with JavaScript, especially jQuery, and a basic understanding of PHP/MySQL are a plus.

16-24 hrs/week, flexible scheduling
